We are located eight miles west of  Huntsville, TX. Our land

consists of pastures and wooded acreage.   In August of 1998

we  purchased our first full blood buck, a full blood doe,

and two percentage does.   Since that time, we have

purchased  two full blood bucks, full blood does, percentage

does, and have had  kids born.  To date we have two full

blood  buck sires, eleven full blood does, seven purebred

does, and thirty-three percentage does.

We also purchased a full blood French Alpine doe, who

supplies  milk in the event we should ever need to bottle feed.

Plum Gully Farm is a member of ABGA, the IBGA, AMGA,

 and  Walker County Fair Association.

In 1998 we started out with one pen and quickly grew to five.

In 2000 we built a barn.  The right side of the barn houses the

goats.  Hay and all supplies are secured in the middle section.

The shed on the left side of the barn will be a working station,

with a corral, scales, and tilt table.  The bucks’ pen is

separated  from the does.  We are now able to utilize the

other pens for  breeding, birthing, and a place for new moms

and babies to stay.  Each  pen  has its own pasture to graze in.
